Live streaming has taken the world by storm in the video game scene. Millions of people watch game streamers everyday and have transformed the world of Esports. Have you ever thought that a site like Twitch would have a live streaming platform for developers like you?
Welcome to Hackalong, a Twitch Community led Hackathon! We want to bring you into the world of live programming and show you the benefits of this community. This hackathon has been coordinated by many dedicated and active streamers on Twitch who share their passion for development through entertaining, and other unique ways.
This hackathon will consist of two main themes that will be announced the day of the event. Make sure to register here on Devpost and then join the Discord (https://discord.gg/zQtMZG) to find out what they are! If you are not interested in either of the themes, thats okay! There will still be a prize for the best hack overall.
We want you to come join us in our first ever online hackathon created for our communities to spread the knowledge of live programming and bring fresh minds into the community!

Eligibility
Everyone is highly encouraged and welcome to participate in this event. This event is open to all ages. All hackers are more than welcome to collaborate in a team with other hackers. A team of more than 4 hackers will be considered ineligible.
Requirements
In order to be considered for prize selection in this hackathon you must submit the following content:
- A short description of your project
- The category you are submitting for
- The team members (if any) that particpated in the project
- A link to your current codebase
- A 1-2 minute video demo demonstrating your project
